Have a show coming up so I installed my "show" tails finally. I had lilron paint the black trim grey and tint the red lens black. I put chrome tape in the buckets and installed 3496 bulbs.

This install lead me to fix a problem with a bulb installed incorrectly and some flashers/brake lights that weren't working properly, or at least not with the new bulbs.

The first pics compares stock passenger side to the tinted/3496 driver side with the lights on. You can see the improperly installed ...

Thanks to Fred (Ruphrax) I have four fans to work with. Two of them have a two prong connector molded as part of the motor housing. I will be needing matching connectors.

Any idea what part number I might be looking for? or if a matching connector is available from advance/autozone/napa etc? Past the connector I can wire it back to the relays/ECM, but ...

I've been lurking around here for a couple weeks, and the weather broke so I figgured I'd take a couple pics of the "new" wagon and introduce myself. I've been a B-Body fan and owner since '98, in that time I've had approx 25 of them, mostly 9c1's. This is my 4th wagon, I've had a '92 caprice, a '93 RMW, a '95 caprice woody, and now this '95 here I bought around a month ago with 93k on her....I like what I see here, 'specially that most of the people seem more adult ...

Here's what's going on with it this pretty soon. I have a surfboard that's gonna go on the roof - and I'm gonna add a hood scoop looking deal to the hood. Not like a big damn elephant snout though. Think like a bolt on cowl that's been installed backward.

I've got a couple wagons at the moment, so I must be in the right place.

This is my '83 Olds Cutlass Cruiser.

It has a Chevy 350/TH-350 trans. I bought it as a roller from Texas about 2 years ago.

This is my '81 Buick Century Estate Wagon.

It's all stock with a 3.8 V6, metric 200 trans, and 89K original miles.

Hi all. Some of you will remember me from the Impala forum (Bone Stock) and/or WagonFest '06. Glad to see so many old friends here. Looks like a nice home for the longroof crowd.

Since foolishly selling my very sweet 95 Impala SS 2 years ago, I have been out of the B-Body world, except for having a 94 RMW taking up half my garage but not moving. Hope to rectify that soon.

My daily ride is a 99 Burb LT 4x4, so I guess I am doubly qualified for this forum.

Okay, so by recommendation of Jayoldschool and someone else from the Cadillac forum, I picked up some Eagle One aluminum wheel cleaner, and some tire shine.

Here's some pictures of the adventure of removing the wheels.

Lessons learned:

1. SUV Jack stands are the devil. It was all I had to work with, though.

2. I want a floor jack, NOW. Scissor jacks are also the devil.

3. If you think you're high enough, you really aren't and need to get some more height.

OK guys. Looking for some input here. Have been shopping for a torque convertor for the 4l60E in the Caddy to correct a lock-up shutter but some of you suggested doing the line pressure test first before investing in a new torque. Connected one up this morning and the following is the results:

1. Park, OD pressure about 55 PSI at idle and 65 to 70 at slight throttle, brakes on.

2. Reverse only goes up to 75 or 80 at idle and can get it up to 90 PSI with slight throttle, brakes on.

The interior is damn near perfect except the usual jackhole came along and tore up the door handle inserts. It has a vista shade but one of the clips on it is broken. No Cargo shade and I took the door weatherstriping.

He said the car hadn't been cranked in 2 years but he charged the batt and drove the car up and down his driveway. LF fender/marker supposed to be the only body damage. I might go look later this week but really can't justify another one right now. If anyone is interested I would be glad ...

Hello to all. I am new to this forum but I have been a wagon lover many years. I am on my third wagon, my second RMW. It is a 95 LT-1 that is giving me a problem. It has 182,000 miles. The optispark was replaced, along with the wires about 35,000 miles ago. When you drive away and the engine is cold, it seems like it doesn't get enough fuel. It bogs and pops back. The more gas you give it the more it bogs. Then, in just a mile or so it smooths out and runs great. It has no codes or lights. ...

Okay so I joined awhile ago and had the car paid for and ready to go. I got home from college today for Spring Break, and finally got to see and be with the car. I haven't driven it yet, but what I've seen of it so far, I am impressed.

To recap:

Didn't have my camera (was in the Civic today) so these are cruddy cell pics I knew I saw this OCC before. Figures it showed up when I wasn't ready to take a good pic. Woodgrain looks like the same style as Pat's Estate Wagon. I will try to get better pics someday!

Hi Gang

I know some of us cant make Fred's "nationwide" Wagon Fest, due to work, distance, lack of funding, whatever. And in NO WAY do I want to detract from what Fred has built Wagon Fest into. However, how about having a "South East" Wagon Fest for guys in the southeast?? I have a place to hold it in March. This could be a 2010 event. Whaddya think? Discuss.

It's been spotty for a few months but the last 2 days nothing, other than about 10 min from my phone at work. Maybe I was banned? Hell, I don't know what the problem is. I remember talk of this long ago but I thought it was resolved. Also remember having to be on the forum to read the instructions on how to correct it Can anybody help?

Newbie from Michigan - pictures!

I just read the instructions for posting images. Hope this works!

Here are a few pix of our newest addition.

The woodgrain steering wheel cover is gone, as are the chrome door edge guards and the chrome trim around the fuel filler door.

The body side moldings will be gone soon.

It has the 3rd row seat (my 20-something kids both have fond memories of riding back there!)

Looking forward to spending some time on it.
