WI/IL/IN/Etc... Chicagoland/Upper Midwest Spring B-Body Meet: 05/22/10

Okay, The official date is SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2010! The meet will be located at ISSF member, GunGuy's (Lloyd's) home, which is located off of Wisconsin State Road 11, near the city line of Racine and Sturtevant, Wisconsin. I am thinking that we should start getting there around one, and then do a cruise over to Lake Michigan at Pershing Park, later in day for photo ops.

Please bring your favorite snacks or food to share, as this party will not be catered! Any and all ideas are welcome, please don't hesitate to post, or pm or call me with them!

Well, It's your bar-b-que, so I'm not telling you how to cook......

But one suggestion would be to try and take some notes from Wagonfest since it's a pretty well developed formula ...

Like - Try to get a deal on a block of rooms at the cheapest local hotel - that way, if there are any out of towners who drive (hypothetically, of course) 5 hours and 19 minutes one way to get there and don't want to repeat that same trip to go home on the same day - everyone has a place to tailgate that evening/night/holyshitwebettergotobed too.

John, I am staying at the Fairfield Inn on Washington Ave. The rate for 05/22 is $81.99 for 2 queen beds. Nice hotel with a pool and hot tub, free breakfast.
