Hey guys,

I pick up the Roady on Sunday, and just down the street a guy is selling these Mustang GT replica wheels:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/4667827484.html

I know the bolt pattern is wrong, but my question is will they fit with adaptors or will they be too wide.

I'm asking him the offset, but 10.5 seems like it is probably too wide regardless.

Thanks,
Ian

Those are some good looking wheels Ian but I dont think the 17x10.5 wheels will fit.The thinnest adaptor I would use is 1 inch wide and that would jam the outside edge of the rim into the lip of the rear fender.Dont think even using a narrow tire would help with the clearance problems.I just bought a set of 5x5 to 5x4.75 by 1.25 inch  adaptors because of all the cheap camaro and corvette takeoffs that are on CLs. I already have 4 sets of rims for my OCC and I am trying to decide what to get rid of before I buy more. The widest rims that I know of being used on the rear are 18x9.5 with no clearance issues.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed. Coming back to reality, as much as I like the look of a staggered setup I would probably rather have a square setup to allow tire rotations.

I will keep looking.

If these are still available I love the way mine look on the wagon.... shipping runs about $100 (past experience) but you will have to check with the owner. Jeff

Those are nice, and not a bad price. I need to evaluate the trans and other items first, unfortunately the tires on it now are in decent shape. Smile
