Does anybody know it the curved chrome trim piece under the tail light (mounted to the bumper cove) on the Roady wagon varies from year to year? I was going through some spare parts I have today, and held up a few of those curved pieces next to my car, and I swear that the junk yard pieces I have are shorter. I tried moving them left to right, and the 3 spare ones I have seem shorter. I'm certainly not going to take my good ones off to see if it is an illusion or not, just wondering.

Agreed, same part all years. It may be an optical illusion because of the tail light covering the top a little. Removing them usually damages the pins that hold them on. Sometimes you will find a screw or two through the stainless under the rubber strip. If the retainers on the pins are broken, you could put a tight fitting rubber grommet over each pin behind the mounting bracket to hold the piece on.
