350 rocket carb questions

Hi the everyone ok what i have is a 86 442 with a early 70s 350 rocket running a 3711 edelbrock intake with a 1406 carb. I  think i figured out half the headache in this switch over as far as the egr clearance goes, what i cant figure out is how do the throttle cable actually attach to the carb and is there anything else im missing there as far as the throttle and spring to make carb function. Im new to all this but im learning  any help would be great thanks
