You can look but you will not find a better Caprice than mine (for this price). I'm putting my garage kept 1995 Caprice Wagon up for sale. The inspection is up to date and not due again until 5/2016. The car is not perfect but it has been my reliable daily driver for about the past 8 years. I have tried to modify the car in a way were it looks like it came from the factory that way. Here are some details:

- The car has an original 144,649 miles on it and other than removing 1st & 2nd base the 5.7 is unmodified and in great condition. I still have the original air intake system and it will come with the car.

- The car has a Python security system which provides keyless entry as well as security for the car while your away.

- I added a Suncoast hood and a very rare Olds Custom Cruiser bumper cover. OEM 17" Impala wheels, (4) new Riken 255/50/17 tires, Clear turn signal lights. Impala SS grill with clear bowtie.

- The front & rear sway bars are from B-Body Performance, Monroe Severe Service shocks and 9c1 (police) springs are on all 4 corners and heavy duty rear lower control arms.

- 6 way tan leather Bonneville seats up front with color matched Impala SS center console and folding second row seat to match. Plush carpet with Caprice SS floor mats. Buick Road Master wagon door panels
with vinyl uppers and brushed aluminum door pulls. Monte Carlo steering wheel with working radio controls. All interior lights converted to LED. Z/28 gauge cluster with Tach added with the correct mileage.

- The car is wired for an aftermarket stereo system but currently has the stock radio installed. All 4 speakers have been upgraded and the amp and subwoofer located behind the rear spare panel are connected
and will come with the car. You can leave the sound system as it is and it sounds great, much better than stock or you can add your own aftermarket head unit.

$4000.00 obo  I will add additional pictures later today.

Where are you located? Where has this car spent most of it's life?

I felt the same way having bought a couple of RB cars over the years, however, when Crovo was selling his T56 Impala cheap I didn't even explore the option due to previous experience.

I then saw the car with its new owner at the Impy Nats in Michigan and saw a Florida like clean under body and have been kicking myself ever since.

Moral: get pics of the underside!

^Truth.

Also add inside the quarter panels to that list. Rot starts from within.

I just updated my add on the Impala forum by adding a little over 30 pics.  I tried to show around the body, inside rear glove box and spare area (you'll see there is no rust ). The rear door still open as a door and tailgate and there are some shots of the underside of the car and engine bay. Here is a link to the update:

Superior Finish,

Thanks for posting up that Rust Belt map.  For anyone who was concerned about the car having a ton of rust on it, I live in Hatboro PA.  The car has been in Hatboro for the past 8 years and prior to that it came from NJ.  Here is a map of Hatboro's position in PA.  The only thing we have to worry about in this part of PA are large pot holes, lol!

I also posted about 30 pictures yesterday morning on the Impala forum some of which so the underside and inside the car behind the rear panels.

I think its a little unfair to categorize any car from any particular area,.

especially to add comments like "ugh rustbelt"

Cars can stand on their own merits, regardless of where they are from,.

This car looks to be in great shape,..

I agree Nick, how the owner cares for a vehicle (over it's lifetime) is paramount in it's condition.

I have not seen the pics as I no longer visit the ISSF..

181, this is not an attack on you or your vehicle..... please do not take it that way. My intent was that vehicles from "up there" warrent a more thourough inspection, nothing more. Most of us (myself included) have been burned by oxidized metal.

I wish you nothing but the best in the sale of the vehicle, someone will be thrilled with the purchase.

The pictures show a very nice wagon that does not like it is from PA.

There is some slight rusting in spots but no rot and the car is solid.

That said, I understand that the definition of rust differs between those in the South and those in the North.
