Hello all! I was one of those 0 posts that got cleared out earlier, but I'm back with a post this time. I don't usually have much to say, but I like being able to check out the different threads and see what's going on in wagon world. Last year I picked up a 92 OCC that had been sitting still for years with less than 90k miles and I've been slowly trying to get it roadworthy. Drove to Oklahoma to get it only to find out the owner was less than honest about the drivetrain condition. Rented a trailer to retrieve it on a return trip. Local transmission guy held up a lot of the process, wallet, time, and kids held up the rest. But good things come to those who wait, right? Anyways, she's on the road now and I'm trying to get her a bit more bullet proof before I take her any distance (plus the inside fan quit working while I wasn't looking and ac down here is a necessity in summer). She's a white whale, so I'm torn between calling her Moby or Ahab's Curse. I'll be looking for a 41509 hitch. I've missed out on a couple by mere hours, but am "stalking" a local RMW I've seen with paper plates and the 2 inch out back to make the owner an offer. I'll also be scanning the forum for info on suspension improvements and replacement antenna ideas. Looking forward to driving her for years to come. I guess I'll have to get on the home computer to load a pic, I don't see an option while on my phone.

I love it! I miss my '92! If you ever want to meet up, I take my Roadmaster wagon to the Saturday cruise-in's at the Top Notch in Austin and the Cruise-In sometimes down at Cabela's in Buda.

Also would love to see another wagon at the Sunday morning Cars and Coffee shows. Remember there are FOUR Austin-area Cars and Coffee's, one every weekend, at The Oasis on Lake Travis, on the downtown square in Leander, in the old Wal-Mart lot in Taylor and the big meet here in Round Rock where I live.

Drop me a line sometime! Welcome!

-Mike

Thanks for the direction for an antenna. Is that Fred Kiehl or someone else?

Mike- I look forward to heading out to a Top Notch one Saturday soon, thanks! Sunday mornings are pretty full, though. How often is the Cruise-in at Cabela's? Is there a website for local car shows/events that you follow?

Just an FYI, there is a white-over-tan '91 Custom Cruiser at the Pull-U-Part on South Congress in Austin, and another white-over-tan '92 Custom Cruiser at Pick-N-Pull in San Antonio. Both are loaded with parts!
