Please post as a reply to this thread if you are coming to our little shin-dig.  I will need the following.  I am also asking about lunch if how many are interested.  The Museum may be able to provide up box lunches for about $7-10 each if you are would like.  If there are enough folks interested I will pursue further.

Starting at the museum.  Going to City Island early and hanging in the empty ( I hope) parking garage.

If you have an EZ UP ( folding shelter ) bring it, we have no pavilion if it rains.

Booked into the HoJo for Saturday night, about 1.7 miles from the park: $76.  There are still a few rooms left.  The reviews seem OK, a bit better that the Comfort Inn (same price, same distance from the park).

David, 1996 Caprice, 1 (unless the wife tags along), lunch=yes. Will advise if numbers increase.

Are you sure you want to take on all the hungry wagon folks? Maybe you can put a jar for a few bucks to offset your cost. If this is the case we will forgo the box lunches.

Yeah should be no problem. Ive done some larger catering jobs before so. I also wont have to leave at 5am or however early it was last time since this is alot closer. IS there an itinerary of sorts? When is everybody rallying and how long are we hanging around?

Yep. Given that many will have their fill of long drives by the time of arrival, a brief and relaxing circuit of the pod would seem more appropriate.

A one day gig with a bunch of wagons? ,cool! Not that far from me. Don't know which wagon I'll bring, depends on how much time I can dedicate to getting one of them presentable enough.
If dry weather that day, pencil me (maybe wife too) in.

Don't read too much into that, Chevy hasn't even been washed yet since I bought it a few weeks ago at an estate sale. Should be enough time (hopefully) to do what I want to do to the Buick to make it look decent enough so as to not be embarrassed when all the other big boat wagon owners show up. Think I'll dust off the shop tools and play "body man" again.
New American Racing wheels with some nice new all season tires mounted need to be ordered today.
Caprice is gonna be making it's debut next Spring.

Yeah, there is certainly something to be said about limited time and budgets when multiple projects are at hand. They never move forward as fast as we'd like.

I am thinking about it, but I am on the no side of maybe right now. it is actually another 30 miles more for me than lake Geneva was. when we went to wagonfest we started a 2,600 mile road trip and we ended up stopping at that museum. IMO there wagon display was not "all that and more" but they did have an artistic display of hood ornaments. Hershey is not wallet friendly to a family on a budget. "world of Hershey" was the worst tourist trap I have been to in a very long time. JMO YMMV.

At the moment, I can't keep my car running long enough to back out of the driveway. Drag racing is tomorrow. Doesn't  look like that will be happening, unless I discover and fix the problem within the next few hours this morning. So I can't say yes at the moment for the Hershey Squirts run.

Well with buying the 9C1 and finishing my garage up I'm going to be pretty broke this fall, don't think I'll be able to attend. Have fun without me..

Waiting to see if the transmission needs some rebuild work. It making some weird clicking noises when in forward or reverse.

Im afraid we are going to have to back out on this little adventure. Sucks,I was looking forward to meeting some more of you guys. We will have to try again next time.

After the last few days I figured I wasn't going to make it. Buick's running like crap. Acts like it's only running on 7 cylinders. Think it's finally time to bite the bullet and install the opti I've been holding onto since last Winter.
Did a real good cleaning of the Caprice today and even though they say "you never get a second chance for a first impression" is true, I'd rather show up with a rough around the edges Caprice than not at all. So.......have to do the whole brake system, but other than that she should be good to go.

Check underneath and see if you ran over an RIT student. They make that sound when they are texting.

It's unlikely that I'll have my fuel delivery and drive line issues sorted and (and paid for) by them. I'll unfortunately be a no show.

 My son's auto repair shop went belly up along with several thousand dollars of my investment. The lifts are no longer available to me for work on Shammoo easily, and no more money to buy parts for awhile.

Dang it!!! I just brought Black Betty from around there. Not going back for a while.. FYI Mid-Atlantic is just that. Next time Nova Scotia maybe, eh?

Working on fuel delivery. Fuel pump crapped out. Likely  getting a replacement from Summit.

I may be out.  Transmission is going to need rebuilt in my Trailblazer DD.  Luckily I have the OCC and it has been executing DD duties well.  I just miss Retained Accessory Power, Functional AC, better defrosters, XM, remote keyless entry, being able to fit into parking spaces lengthwise, a trailer hitch and more.

I've been using my '94 Caprice wagon as my daily driver since I recently got it legal to do so. Miss the Roady's remote keyless entry, automatic unlock of all door locks when car is put in park, dual cup holders and substantial storage of Buick's arm rest, auto dim rear view mirror, outside air temp readout, and more.

Just joined the group and just purched my first long roof a 1992 buick estate wagon 350 TBI car. Me and my buddy and his 96 would love to come out to wagon fest as long as my job allows is there somthin I have to do to sign up?

It's official, I'm out for this one. I've got too much going on here in my neck of the woods and am waiting on the return of my DD, which may very well be racking up at least $1500 on a trans rebuild.

That's the third tranny issue our crew is dealing with!

Yeah, I blew a planetary. It's getting 5 pinion planetaries, Corvette servos, hardened sunshell, clutch pack upgrades, trans cooler and having the shifts firmed up. I tow rather often it seems. increasing the strength of the transmission, hopefully I can have torque management tuned out of the PCM later on.

I just had the T56 out of the blue car again,. it has issue's

Ok, Trans is in, exhaust manifolds are in, starters in... I'm in too, see y'all Friday/Saturday.

Ive read several times the 2000 stall converter is a nice upgrade. Puts you in the power band quicker.

I love my 3000 stall, it wasn't cheap but it sure woke the car up.
