 LT1 PCV valve

am i missing something? i attempted to replace my PCV valve, but i found an empty hose going to my passenger's side valve cover:

Advanced auto sold me this ( which does not fit):

does the LT1 not have a PCV valve?

your PCV is drivers side midway along the intake manifold,..
