Anybody on here tried Hydro-Dipping or Water Transfer Printing parts? If you don't know what 'm talking about look it up . It seems a lot of people want the carbon-fibre look or skulls and crap on their stuff ,but woodgraining can also be done. One how-to shows a guy just spraying paint on the surface of a tub of water and then sticking a part down through it. The results were impressive. Very interesting.

I've looked into it a little for some of the fake wood trim on my 78 Coupe De Ville. I've done some research, and it seems like it works really well, and even if you send your stuff off to have it done professionally it isn't that expensive.

Tim did his engine cover and headlight covers i think,..

but he's lost to farcebook as well i think,..
