I am looking for a QUALITY fiberglass rear roll pan for my '94 Caprice project. Only saw two on ebay. One is a joke ($160 for item, $180 to ship it !!!!!!!!!!!) And that company has too many neutral & negative feedbacks for me.

The other shows one on a white wagon. Asking $230 , used to be $200 not that long ago. Must pick up at a Greyhound terminal?!
Anyone know sources other than these two? I prefer a smooth surface (no recess for license plate).

Used or a bit damaged ok too.

I checked out Impala Mike's web site and liked what I saw. Talked to the guy for quite a bit on the phone. I placed my order with him for a rear roll pan (smooth). They make them when an order is placed. Took a few weeks to finally get it.
Wow, what a poorly made p.o.s!! It would need so much body work, time and effort just to make it as nice as the pics on the web site I am actually waiting for Mike to contact me again with a UPS label to send it right back for a full refund. About $265 with ( $19 discount from the $199 asking price) shipping.
He said he'd place an order with the actual company that makes them for another one for me. After looking it over even better a second time I decided not to even bother.
And I'm an auto body mechanic of 40 years so fixing it like I want it isn't a matter of ability, it's a matter of I shouldn't have to spend the better part of a whole day on something that's brand new and cost that much.
Purchase at your own risk. You have been warned!

Shipping by Greyhound is the only way you will get decent shipping costs. Allday Customs is probably where mike got the one he sent to you. They are the only ones I know who are still making them.

A friend of mine tried to get one from impalamike's and could not get him to return his calls. He bought one someplace else, or kept the OEM cover.

The variety of roll pans and replacement front bumper covers looks quite impressive on Mike's web site. All smooth, glossy and perfect. Mine had wavy areas, cracks in the gel coat, POOR "bondo" filled areas, etc. They didn't even hose off the cover after sanding it before it was boxed up. Once I removed it from the poorly taped box my forearm got fiberglass dust on it. What fun!
Mike told me he had never received a bad complaint about them before but there's always a first time. Yeah, right!
I asked him if he makes them at his company and he said no. So he never actually sees the end result before they are shipped to customers.
The back side even had a busy little spider making it's web.
At BEST I would offer a TOTAL of $75 for it including shipping. But of course that's less than the shipping cost itself.
Oh well, back to using the stock rear bumper setup. Just hope I get a full refund.

If you are going to do it someday, get a beater bag, a hammer, and a large sheet of metal, then start pounding a little each day. By the time you are ready you should have a complete metal roll pan.
