Hey guys, I just went through the big PITA of finding a hatch replacement and am not too interested in going through that again.

With that said, I have had competition 15's that I have been getting ready to put in but I'm worried about busting that glass again.

Has anyone here put theirs through any unnecessary audio abuse?

Thanks guys!

I completely agree... It's why I'm considering not having my speakers for the first time in 10 years..

My Kicker demo car at one time had 4-15's , then replaced with 3-18's  with 2000+ watt systems Still has the original  rear hatch glass. It was hammered on for a few years that way by Kicker, and survived.

Last time I checked, high frequencies shattered glass, not low...

Thanks mtrhead and lakeffect. Iv built my box, I'm just gonna go for it. There a few guys here that have the glass JIC for good prices.. Once you get woofers it's hard to go back to pappy tunes..

Thanks Jay, I see how youve managed to conjure up 22 hundred posts.
