Instrument panel indicator lamps Empty
PostSubject: Instrument panel indicator lamps   Instrument panel indicator lamps Icon_minitimeSat Oct 01, 2016 8:02 pm

Hi guys, I pulled off the dash panel to swap audio decks.
Now that's done, but before I put the panel back on, I'd like to replace any indicator bulbs that may be burned out.
It looks like not all of them illuminate while keying on.
Is there any way to test their function without taking the instrument panel off?
Thanks

If there are any out, you will have to pull the cluster to replace it/them. Removing the cluster is easy once you have the dash face off. Just remember to remove the cable for the PRNDL indicator from the column, so that you do not break the cable. If you are going to replace one, you might consider replacing all of them, so you do not have to do it again in a few months. Another option is to use LEDs. LEDs will probably outlast the car.

Thanks. Do you know the part number for the LED replacements?

There is a thread on ISSF about them.
