On the roadmaster, lots of guys use the olds custom cruiser crossbar if you don't haul a lot of stuff on the roof. It's low profile and black, tucks just behind the vista roof.
I have a spare one back in BC I can sell you, but can't get it to you before Aug. If you haul bikes, canoes, etc regularly, do go for the standard 94-96 cross bars.

Hey Big Jack, are you talking about the thin long strips that are bolted to the roof that run front to back or are you talking about the crossbars??
