Wagonfest NY 2018 Poll to Choose date, please vote now

There has been considerable discussion regarding the date for Wagonfest NY 2018, and the nature of the event.  Most seem to want a minimalist event, focused on the Seneca Lake Park: a tent and a place to park the cars, swap parts and stories.

There will undoubtedly be folks who will organize side trips and small group dinners and such. Irrespective of which weekend is selected, if  more activity is desired, it will be arranged by individuals or small groups on an ad hoc basis.  All we're really doing with this poll is picking the weekend for Wagonfest NY so we can reserve a spot in the park, set up a tent in case it rains, and reserve a block of room at a local hotel for the weekend.  

Here we go.

July 20-22: Friday night could include running some of the cars at Watkins Glen if you enjoy that.  Saturday would be at the Lakefront Park in Geneva.  There is also a classic car show at Goose Watch Winery from 1 to 6 PM, about 20 minutes away in Romulus for those interested.  Lots of cars, food, and live music.  Entry is $10.  For details and entry form, see: https://goosewatch.com/events/classic-car-show/
Sunday at park again.

July 27-29:  Again, Friday night could include running some of the cars at Watkins Glen if you enjoy that, or there is Cruising Night in downtown Geneva, with a car show, food and live music.  There is nothing on the Geneva BID website yet about Cruising Night, but it's coming.  Saturday and Sunday at the Lakefront Park with the same opportunities for swapping parts and stories.

I can only come on the 27-29, plus I may actually (at long last) enter into the Friday evening Geneva show this year!

Matt and I vote for July 27-29th but will do our best to attend whatever date is decided on by the majority. I have previously enjoyed attending the down town Geneva car show after driving the Glenn.
