4/28/18 - Saturday Roadmaster Wagon project, wood-outline trim refinish. SO the clear-coat on the white paint above the wood on both my passenger-side doors has been peeling for some time now. I finally ran the car out to my painter Uncle Neill and had him repaint the white. He gave me a great deal, with the stipulation that I remove the wood trim myself. Thanks to Christopher L Powell for walking me through the removal. Today I scraped and sanded the last of the old wood decaling off the backsides of the trim, repainted the two pieces of door trim with Satin Nutmeg paint, and re-installed them.

Car looks better again! Projects are NEVER done! Save the Whales!

i think i was ahead of the curve 10 yrs ago,.  nutmeg satin paint looks like cummins engine paint,. which i used on the old gold run of the mill rusty roady. I brought it to wagonfest and it looked so factory that only 3-4 people noticed,.

I remember that car! Or at least PICS of that car!

I went back-and-forth about the color to paint the trim way back in 07-08 when I first got my car. Ended up moving away from the lighter color and going for more of a color to match the main wood. Seen it both ways...like it both ways. BUT wish I'd known to polish the trim, and may still do that one day!
