| I love that The Eagles play everyone's solo hits when they tour. Some great songs from Walsh, Henley, and Frey. |

| I like his music a lot, but can't watch Joe Cocker sing...it's painful...looks like he's trying to push a large one out. ; ) However I can watch John Belushi sing Joe Cocker......hilarious. This is my favorite song of Joe Cocker's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn7yE2I3W0s Reminds me of cruising to the Jersey Shore in my 69 LeMans convertible in high school and cruising around Seaside Heights looking at all the girls with the 4-foot-tall hair and tight jeans.....ah 1990-92..... What a great look I had... Needed some taller socks and a better bowling shirt... Hahahahaha There were actually a lot of cool cars down there on summer nights in Sleazeside. It's one of the few things I miss about Jersey. Ha!

When I met my wife in 1994 she was a huge Eagles fan, and I about Eagle'd myself out with her those first few years. Still great music, have just heard it 10,000 times....which is why I do like the solo stuff from Henley, Walsh, and of course 80's stuff from Glen Frey (Miami Vice music).
That said I bought the Hell Freeze's Over DVD, and it's just just awesome to watch on the big screen with the surround sound in the house. They did the music SO perfect one that DVD. If you don't own it, GET IT.
This is still my favorite version of Hotel California...never gets old. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd-4yjUS4Oo |

| I tend to associate music with memories and places. Always have.
Now you guys got me digging through my Youtube Vids again....
I like Glen Frey's 80's TV/Movie Songs. Those actually remind me of living in Denver Colorado and riding up into the mountains with my Dad in the 79 Corvette. We were in Denver from mid 1984 to 1987. Really pretty place.

Now Henley's stuff spreads over Tulsa Oklahoma (78-84) Denver (84-87) New Jersey (87-92) and Texas (92-present)
Tulsa Henley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gI8eHVdplk - Leather and Lace with Stevie Nicks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46bBWBG9r2o - Dirty Laundry (you HAVE to turn this up!)
Denver Henley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QSyaBHr1jU - All She wants to do is Dance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdnDOMUpnsk - Boys of Summer, fabulous song I can't find the video for "Down at the Sunset Grill" dangit!
Jersey Henley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFOmIi0Mu1U - The end of the Innocence (somewhat appropriate...came out when I was in high school) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6VtI1i89yk - The Heart of the Matter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-T7bCUrfJw - New York Minute. This song actually makes me cold..I had the cassette single (!) and remember listening to it while shoveling snow at Bernardsville Amoco, my high school job.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vViWU0FjyZA - The Last Worthless Evening
Texas Henley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Fg1lZ4TQXU - Everything is different now |

| Yep, I'm a big fan, too. Guess it was in my DNA. Parents were at the Hotel California tour concert here. It was the biggest outdoor concert in our city's history.
Along with the Hell Freezes Over DVD, I have the Miami Vice box set. Highly recommended for guys our age! |

| Miami Vice box set. Cool. That was the first show I got to stay "up late" with Dad to watch as a kid. ; )
Now need to pull out the Phil Collins songs from that show...oh and Peter Gabriel. |
