Well I was concerned that with the Superbowl there would not be a good showing at Cars and Coffee today...but OH MAN WAS I WRONG! This was the BIGGEST Cars and Coffee so far. I think after the snow shut the town down on Friday people were just dying to get out. Temps in the upper 60's to low 70's, huge blue sky, man it's a really pretty day today....sorry Crovo. Wink

Dad had cleaned up my Roadmaster yesterday and volunteered to drive it too, so we took both the Cutlass and the Roady wagon to the show. Such fun! Both got tons of attention, such fun!

I want to first say if you are on dial-up, you may want to give up now. Eddie, Dad and I took a TON of pics and I'm downloading them all. Also, we did go to the Austin Swap-Meet at the VFW after Cars and Coffee, but I'll post those pics in another thread, there are not nearly as many, was just a small swap meet.

The sheer amount of odd an awesome cars at these events is staggering. It's heaven for a car nut like me!

On with the Cars and Coffee pics!

Dad, Eddie and I loading the Cutlass and Roady up at my house to head to Cars and Coffee in Leander Texas

And heading out, me in the Cutty and Dad in the Roady. Part of the drive is on the highway and part of it is on a great 2-lane twist country road. It's about 25-mins from my house to Leander.

Wait up Dad! The 307 is giving all she has!!

Caught him!

Wrong exit Dad!

Chasing Dad on the frontage road

Caught you old man!

Heading north

On the 2-lane...Cutlass Cruising! Dad behind me now. GREAT ROAD!

I bet I know where they are going!

We made it! Dad behind us pulling in!

Laird is there with the goofy Pacer Wagon

Got a good shady spot!

How about an original and unrestored 1972 Cutlass 442. Original Paint, stripes, and interior. Lots of door dings and bumps, the inside was worn, but it was not rusty and near to see an original and well-enjoyed classic!

And this just proves that you can see anything at Cars and Coffee! I think he should have parked next to the Bentley GT myself....

This was pretty cool. Have you seen the new F-150 SVT Raptor yet? Huge Trucks!

The military collectors were there too. Cars and Coffee has it all! I was most impressed with the HUGE 8-wheels MAN transport vehicle. The driver of this can say "Who's the Man?" with a straight face!

The blown 70 Challenger R/T showed up.

Couple Hemi 300's

Mike do you want to adopt an older much better looking brother? You guys definitely know how to
have a great time.Sure would love to find out more info about that induction system on that big
block Chevelle.I know its a very rare and unusual fuel injection system with dual sidedraft injectors.
Never seen a setup like that before.
As Always Awesome Mike
Take Care

While you were in the sun attending this nice car show/cruise, yesterday I cruised Woodward ave in Detroit with my GF, in her Mini Cooper. It was snowing and there was like 3" of snow on the road, the mini has traction issues...

Anyways as I was cruising woodward ave in the middle of a snow storm I was pissed off that my video camera was in my wagon at the GF's place...

Would have made a cool video, could have called it Dreaming of the Woodward Dream Cruise.... actually did see a rusty 67 442 with slushed up craigars....

Despite the weather, I'm jealous you can say you've cruised Woodward. I can't! But will someday!
