With the warm sunny weather this weekend we're expecting a large turn-out tonight at the local cruise-in. If anyone has car-friends in the Central Texas area, tell them to come on out! People start gathering between 5-6pm and the meet runs until 10-ish.

Bring some folding chairs, a camera, and enjoy the toys!

Meet is held at the intersection of Hwy 183 and 1431 in the Shlotzsky's parking lot in Cedar Park.

Pics to follow!

-Mike

Really nice turn-out tonight, lots of cool cars and a really good time. My friend Mitch from work came in his 76 Caddy Coupe DeVille, and I met some new people as well.

My wife is really getting into this...shocking...she and the kids...and even the dog all came in the Roady Wagon and Dad and I drove out in the '79 Electra.

Here we go!

Here's Eddie and the dog with the big Buicks, along with my Dad and some Buick fans.

Gorgeous Z06 Vette along with the 70 Challenger "Popcorn" and Mitch's 76 Coupe DeVille

56 Chevy 4dr and some sharp Vette's

Nice turn out tonight!

Doc's Maverick and a sharp LT1 Firebird

Who hasn't dreamed of a 70 Chevelle SS 454?

Check this out, gorgeous 1955 Mercury

Look at this Ford Galaxie XL. 427 with a 4spd! WHOA!

Had a Model A show up complete with an AAAaaaoooogahh horn

As always, had to get a shot of the gorgeous 67 Mercury

The '63 Caddy from Cars and Coffee showed up. Had a nice talk with the owner tonight. He also has a '76 Seville and we're going to plan a night to bring out his Seville, the 79 Buick, Mitch's 76 Caddy, and Laird's 86 Caprice. Have a big boxy car night!

Hot Mustang GT keeping my Roady company. Nice guy owns this car, and he has a remote in his pocket that turns on the grill fog lights. When folks get close he pops on the lights for fun. Ha!

Blown 57 Chevy with the 79 Buick

Look at this 4spd red ragtop Vette!

1968 Chevelle SS 396

Falcon Ragtop

Hot 69 Camaro Z28. Sounded MEAN

Shelby Mustangs

Bullitt Mustang

Check out this '84 Silverado 10 Short/Wide. It was black over red, truck rally wheels with t/a radials, sharp! BUT when he pulled in it sounded a little...odd. Can you believe this thing has a factory 6.2 diesel in it?? No joke! 93K miles, CLEAN. I talked to the owner and his wife, really nice folks! He also has an LT1 Z28 and is restoring a 67 Camaro. His wife LOVED my Roadmaster. Fun Stuff!

Here comes a sharp 68 Camaro!

Mitch's cool 500ci 1976 Coupe DeVille

Hot Bike!

Really gorgeous 74 Corvette roadster, sounded awesome and CLEAN

Newer Charger and Magnum with halo lights surrounding 68 Camaro

Here's an odd one, see many BMW Z3 Coupes? Huge hood for such a little car.

The lone C4 Corvette LT1 tonight

Green Lightning

New solid white Challenger. Wish the pics were better. This car screams Vanishing Point. Really nice guy owns this car too. I call him Kowalski and he calls me Clark Griswold. ; )

The big Buicks both getting a lot of attention. Fun Stuff!

Look at this Trans Am....just look at it....drool! I wish he'd shown up in the daylight so you could see it better, but take my word, it was awesome.

Even a BMW 2002 showed up. You just never know what will come along!

Thought I'd end with a bang. Wish the pics were better, but look at this GTX convertible. It was drop-dead AWESOME.

Hope you all liked the pics! Happy Weekend All!

-Mike

I absolutely ADORE the C6 orange colors. That one was Atomic Orange. The older Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic is my favorite though (stopped after '06).

That black Z06 in the 3rd pic was really an EVIL car. He didn't open the hood but I swear it was supercharged. Sadly he left at dusk so I only got to drool a little while.
