New guy here from N.E. Ohio.
I'm old, new grandpa, lifetime car guy, married 31 years to my first and only wife I'll do anything on a car but what I ought not shouldn't of messed with, takes many years to learn that.
I recently sold my '71 Vista Cruiser after a 4 year original type resto, I did everthing but machine the engine, sew the seat covers, and shoot the base-clear finish coats. The car turned out too nice, too nice to keep.
I just purchased a '92 Custom Cruiser, white with blue leather interior, lots of options, 350 engine.
It needs a little cosmetic work but is in overall very good condition and runs very well for a car with 150K on it. The car was always in the Southwest so no rust or corrosion, those cars are so clean they're scary looking to a lifelong northeast Ohio/rust belt car guy, like time machines. Cool
I'll post pics when the transport drops it off in a week or so, studying the parts catalog and service manual in the mean time to get a little up to speed, never had anything newer than the '71 to play with, all new school to me, what's this thing called fuel injection? Laughing

Welcome Al!!

Nice choice on the new purchase. Don't let the fuel injection scare you, look at it as a "funny looking computer controlled carburetor". Razz

At least you don't have to points and condensers to deal with and you can FINALLY retire that tach and dwell meter. cheers

Looking forward to the pics....

Welcome Al to the group.I have a 91 OCC (Olds Custom Cruiser) and a 95 RMW (Roadmaster
Wagon). These are great cars that you will quickly become attached to.This is the best place
in my book if you enjoy a little humor and are not afraid to ask for help when needed.
Welcome Again
