I got the OK to bring the new '96 RMW from my step-Dad, so I sent in a picture to Rick Finzer who runs the event and he said yes I can register it. So I'm registering it right now. Dave (95BRMW) decided he's going to come down to NJ and we'll carpool down in the RMW, arriving Friday afternoon. Looking forward to it!

I will be there but not in the wagon. I will be in the "Grandfather of V" '96 Fleetwood Brougham. This will be its one and only show under my care as I've decided the wagon and the '94 Fleetwood will be my keeper and focus cars. I sent in photos of the wagon and talked with the guy in charge. He seemed OK and liked the wagon. I called back later after deciding the Fleetwood made more sense for this show and sent in another set of photos.

Sure hope I get some kind of confirmation since the fee procesed...I have too much going on with the wagon to risk it getting bumped because the sail panels don't match! Hope you folks will let me sit in with the wagons...

Always good to get together with folks who have know how to enjoy the old car hobby!

Sting, there is a pair of fenders on a RMW in the yard here. PS has a couple small dents on top, but the DS is in excellent shape. I think I can get them foryou at about $75 each, and bring them to Daytona.

Well, I'm out for Daytona, again. I could have gotten the days off, but turns out that week is one of the few this year I'll be able to schedule my state license boards. And while seeing you wagon folk is fun and all, I need a license to have a job soooo WF had to get the ax. Maybe next year

I got my approval card today in the mail. Are we going to get together before heading in, so that we can stay together as a group? It would be nice to have all of the wagons in one area. On the card it states that the gate opens at 7AM.

I wonder how "low" the car can be, and still use the turn 4 tunnel.

Yeah, that's the plan. We're going to rendezvous at the hotel parking lot and stroll in together.

What time are we going to meet? I have some driving to do too.

That means I leave at about 5:00. Makes a long day, but excitement makes up for it.

I was going to start working into the details of meet up and drive in after I get back in town (going to a class next week). The past 3 years we met up right near the hotel at 8AM and rolled in. Plenty of time to get it all done. I do think the entrance may be in a different place this year, but I plan on going in on Friday too to scout it out.

Saturday will be the meet up drive in together day. I'm hoping we can get somewhere near where we have been in years past as food and toilets were close by

That's my plan too. Drive down after classes on Friday, do some homework at the hotel (you know, gotta be SORT OF PRODUCTIVE), and chill with my dog.


Then meet up with whoever comes down on Fri.

I should be at the hotel around noon Fri. That gives me time to clean the car.....
