PostSubject: Hello from Hadley MI to all my fellow long roof fanatics   Tue Feb 28, 2012 5:41 am

I stumbled across this site on late night Google ninja maneuvers. I haven't had much time to check it out yet but I have a feeling I will be hanging out here often.

I have been a wagon freak since I was a kid, have owned many despite not having any crumb crunchers.

My current stock is getting thin but include my 59 Brookwood daily driver with the pontiac clip, the 59 catalina safari that donated the clip, 64 bel air wagon, and 94&95 roadmaster estates.

In his Avatar, it looks like the car with Bewber's "grocery getter" stickers on it.

Love love LOVE that 59!! It looks so sharp with the Pontiac front clip! I've always loved the look of the rear on the batwing Chevy, but liked the smooth Poncho front end over the busy Chevy front.

Great job! Welcome!

Once I have a lil more time I will get some pics up, and parts / projects listed for sale.

I know I will see some of you local guys around this summer. I'm sure a few have seen me cruising around in the 59 logged 4000+ miles last year and didn't go anywhere.

For several years before that I piloted a slammed white 92 Caprice wagon with flames from bumper to bumper.

Low rent??? I doubt that,,, I'm about as low rent as it gets, $20 dollars worth of window tint is much more economical than thousands of dollars in interior lol.

I was honored to be down there, having a car in the Autorama is something I've wanted to do since the first time going down there as a kid. It was even more special to be part of the biggest one yet

So if the 59 Catalina wagon donated it's nose to the Chebby, does the Poncho have a chebby nose?

Pics of the catalina please. I love me some 59 like no other.

The pontiac is still complete, minus the front clip and rear bumper ends/steps. The little steps by now should be resting on the only 59 el-catalina prototype that made it out of the factory...

I will be selling what's left of it once I get the parts I need... I will get more pics up soon.

Please be patient, the last week has been a blur between Autorama, and my Nana being sick in the hospital at the same time. She just passed this morning so the time I spend online will be limited and basically an escape from reality here and there.
