Misty and I jumped in the Cutlass and went to the local cruise-in tonight. Good times! For going to the cruise-in, I had to take her for dinner afterwords....fair trade for a "date" and car show. Ha!

For the newbie's or anyone local, this is a free weekly "bring-what-you-got" cruise-in at the intersection of hwys 183 and 1431 in Cedar Park Texas, just north of Austin.

Got there at dusk, so cell phone pics are a bit dark and grainy, sorry. Good news is on the 40-mile round-trip tonight, the new 350 in the Cutlass never got over 200-degrees on the gauge. Guess it just had air in the system still when it ran a little hot Friday. Car ran super too, the 350 is really breaking in well, gets smoother and feels better with ever mile, and the new engine was a hit at the show. I didn't paint under the hood today but cleaned A LOT. It helped.

Here's some show pics, enjoy!

Getting to the show, engine is a hit (but need to peel off the dumb K&N sticker)

The Vette's were out, including gorgeous '72 Stingray

Car club friend's gorgeous '76 Seville. 350 Olds-powered too, but with fuel injection!

Striped Solstice

Check out the projector-beam headlights on this Demon....weird!

'67 Firebird Ragtop

Driver '60 Chevy

New member on our local forum brought his 71 Chevelle. Nice!

Sharp 70 Mach 1

Mean Trans Am

Stang and Student Driver Corolla???

This car was AMAZING. Total restomod '76 Trans Am. 18-inch Year One honeycomb wheels, Hurst-Hatch T-tops, 4-spd, and under the hood...a 455 with TWIN TURBOS! Holy Cow!

This was different, the 80's Nissan 300-Z car club was there

70 Challenger Rod

Good turn out tonight!

Flamed K5

Quicksilver 2006 GTO. Don't care if they look like big Cavaliers, I still want one!

Lead Sled!

The Green Lightning

GORGEOUS '87 Grand National, friendly owner too, gave me some good G-body tips for my Cutlass

Really nice evening!

-Mike

Great to see your Cutlass back on the road again.Wonder what the underhood temps are running
with the twin turbo Trans Am.Awfully tight space under the hood WITHOUT the turbos.
Thanks Mike
