"New" Roadmonster Wagon Empty
PostSubject: "New" Roadmonster Wagon   "New" Roadmonster Wagon Icon_minitimeTue Sep 04, 2012 9:11 pm

Just traded my 1995 w/115K miles for a 1996 with 27K miles. The 95 was totally functional mechanically (no engine, transmission or rear end leaks or problems), but rust has got the best of me.
The only thing I wish was that it was a bit bigger. My 1969 Plymouth Sport Suburban had at least 1 1/2 feet more interior length, such that with all seats deployed there was substantial space between the 2nd and 3rd seats.
It is hard to remember that what seems like a really big car these days, is downsized from the 60's and 70's.

Cheers
Warren

By the time we get the front, second, and back seat filled with people, having a bit of space to put a few things (like between the 2nd and back seat), is a real bonus. Could do that with the older wagons. In fact my daughter used that as her baby bed while on long vacation drives.

Cheers
Warren

Welcome Warren. I too would like a little more room in these wagons but it is sufficient for my needs.

I don't suppose either of you would elaborate on this? Maybe post a link? I'd like to see what is being discussed here.
