1991 Olds Custom Cruiser for parts

Hello everyone,

Unfortunatly my first wagon will be my last. Some of you on Badass forum know the story, i bought this car from a friends parents, he is very ill with cancer and they needed money. So i told her i would buy the wagon. So i paid what they asked to help them out, it was very sad to see how they are suffering through this. No matter, i was going to fix the car up, do a little clean up and resale to get my $ back.
Well the car has a bad frame, i couldn't see it untill i got it on the lift, but again doesn't matter, i have no time to part it, and its to good for the crusher, so didn't know if anyone was interested in it. Its loaded to the hill, there is rust obviously, the front seats have some ripps at the top, the 3rd row seat i dont think has very been sat in. 305 that runs ok, tranny shifts good, brand new exhaust.
I paid $850 with the towing, junkyard will give me $650 as they can sell some parts and make a good penny on it. Any interest please let me know, car is in 04579 (woolwich maine)

frame fix is easy,.weld a section in,. keep the car,. get some use out of it,.

I have 1 page of people wanting parts, but i don't have time to part it. I was hoping someone would buy it complete.

I wish I was closer. I would buy it and part it out.

Maybe you could hire one of he neighborhood teens who is mechanically inclined to part it out. Offer him a percentage of the price per part.

No teens around here with that much motivation. For now i'll just park it somewhere. Maybe i'll get motivated enough to part it someday.

Ok, so it didn't sell on CL or local, what should i save on this car before it goes to scrap? The front bumper, grill and class III hitch are sold already locally.

Gauge cluster, dash face if you have room. The usual wagon stuff if the are there, cargo light covers, glass handle/brake light, etc.

My entire list is too extensive to put up here. The rear quarter glass (not the wings alone) is impossible to find. Gate glass, gate glass hinges, all interior plastic that is not broken, window run channels if they are not shrunk, cladding, tailgate, lockset from the doors, gate, and glovebox, rear wiper arm, rear bumper cover, front marker lights, rear turn signals, heater fan, and heater fan control module on top of everything else.

On top of whats been said, grille, rims, hood ornament, emblems.

Any OCC specific parts are worth saving if in good shape.

Yes sorry, i didn't get a reply email. Car is still around minus the front bumper and taillights.

Could use the front door door panels (both, since they are different from the RMW) and the cover for the back tailgate...

I am really needing this piece. I know its minuscule but its important to me.

I am looking for the Rear window lock and solenoid, and Wiper Stop on rear window. And maybe the dash switch for these. The original owner took out the lock and the wiper doesn't work so I am thinking the switch might be bad but it has been too cold to check it out.

Do you still have the front bumper cover?
