My old warning lights of my '91 Chevy Caprice wagon, had gone bad. They didn't look clean and the white paint was disappeared.

The only thing is, to change them, the whole dash has to come of.

Thanks to forum member, VDUBLUV74 (Thanks again man, they are great!), I got new clean warning symbols. Not the original but better ones because, when the lights are off, they're just black.

And hen they're on:

Next project is a new front bench. My old bench is very bad and there's also something broken inside.

So, I found a replacement.

Ofcourse, this bench gets a brandnew cloth. I've found a company in the U.S. that sells original cloths with the exact same patern and colour.
This is underway, and as soon as the new cloth is received, I'm going to bring the bench to tailer that can turn this old bench in a brand new, tan-coloured bench.

Greetings from the Netherlands. Cool

That looks TONS better! I like your newer-model factory CD player too. Fits well in that car!

Got my new front bench in this weekend! What do you all think? I think the upholstery guy did a great job. This all done with original fabrics that I bought in the U.S. The costs (1000 bucks) is grazy for what the car is worth, but I want to keep the car at least another 12 years and maybe longer.Very Happy

Wow you have an actual full bench up front.

That's so strange to me. Looks great.

Looks brand new!  Yes the money is crazy, but the car is exotic in Europe so it's ok to spend more on it Wink

Think that Stingroo meant that your front seat is very different from our standard front bench. Our seats are divided 60% driver and 40% passenger and the seats are seperate .Yours is all one solid seat much like the older cars were here in the US.Your seat guy does some inpressive work, very sharp.

I used to drive a '89 Caprice boxy and that car had a 60-40 front bench. But for my '91 I really wanted a solid bench just like in the movies haha. For us overhere in The Netherlands, that's the real American feel.
I'll pass on the compliments to my upholstery guy, he'll love that.Cool

Today, I finally had some time to build in my brandnew frontbench. Also my sons helped me out with this.

My old bench has become a very cool seat in my sons room. So, he got a second life!

I've bought the CD player on Ebay a few years ago. It needed some adjustments during the installation. The wiring harness was different and I had to improvise a bit.
