I want to change my final drive from 3.23:1 to probably 3.73 or 3.90 for better hill pulling power for my 3000 lb. Airstream.  I noticed Summit has ring and pinion for either.  Thoughts?

I don't think the small increase in gear ratio you'd get from going to 3.42 would justify the cost.  To be honest I'd base my choice on the cost of the ABS reluctor.  You'll need a custom one from Bob Shirley for the 3.90 for sure.  You "might" be able to score a reasonably priced one for the 3.73, though the OEM is discontinued.
