| This is sad for me and Marge. We kissed for the first time in front of this very restaurant in 1979. 30 years later last September, I took her back, had the kids arrive there first and suprise her. Memories, and pics,oh and Marges huge rock she got that day, are all thats left. http://www.monctonblogger.com/2010/01/le-chateau-a-pape-in-moncton-fire-burns-down-famous-restaurant/ September 29,09 Today Marge and the girls in the Wine cellar One kiss, created all this |

| Geez. You guys are not haviing any luck with fires lately. Didn't you loose the Opera House in Miramchi as well? Know the Chateau as well. Carol took me there a few years back. Its demise is a real shame. It was an interesting old building.
Lucky you have some pictures to remember it by.

| Thats true Bill. I didn't realize you kept in touch with all this excitement. The opera house was pretty special. There isn't much for the young people and divorcees to do here now. From this to this to now Inside the front door,The place was loaded with things from Marilyn Monroe in one of her worn dresses to Hannibal Lecter hanging from the top floor,a fire truck coming out of the wall, and a real harley restored, without the fluids. What a loss. |

| You could through a rock at the Funeral home from the Opera House. It sure makes you double check things now. Have to update the fleet pics this summer. |

| That sucks whenever part of your history is destroyed, especially when it's a place so near to your heart.
Hopefully they'll rebuild. It'll never be the SAME, but at least it'll be there AGAIN for more memories to be made. |

| Haha - I've had to clarify several times in my college classes that I'm not OLD - I'm just a "veteran" young guy.
...... then there's you young guys, who're a little more veteran than me.
Also - is "who're" even a word? It looks an aweful lot like "whore". |
