Well, we had a good bit of rain in the middle...but the sun came out eventually and the party went on!  Here is a group pic (minus a couple of cars since this pic was at the end)

I will post up some of my iPhone pics in a sec.   But look for a video and member-next-to-car pics once i get back home!

Great pics. Love the little video of Ryan doing the 100 yard porta pot dash in the pouring rain.

Looks like it was a good time, even with the rain. Smile

New hood looks great! These Buicks really scream for a ram air hood!

And man, I am in love with that Hurst Olds lookalike! DIGGIT!

Those Mayos and Mutards look killer on those wheels! Another one of those things that if you'd told me you were going to do it, then I would have tried to talk you out of it, but looks absolutely killer when done! Way to go!

I really dig how there are headers and other car parts strewn about by the red solo cups.....it just seems so right.

Looks like a fun time, kudos for making it happen. We talked a few years ago about how regional events should pop up as not everyone can make the trek to NY in the middle of the summer. What impresses me are the wagon faithful that have the time and the resources to make it to multiple events.

I will say that our sedan brethren also share our stoke and love for these big fat cars we drive. I've been to INC meets, Impala Nationals, FaSSt (go and so), and it's all about the cars and camaraderie.

The only other car groups that I've seen with this type of support are the British car guys and even then, I think we trump them on many levels.

I had a great time up there as well. Yea the rain did suck a little but talking car stuff was great. Especially to other ppl that are in the same "boat". At least the first 3/4 of it for me. I did get quite a few ideas about the interior side of things and parts that are out there. I'm a drivetrain guru  so I stick mainly to that side of it. But I'd seen some awesome interiors that gave me a lot of ideas.

If you look very closely in that video, the two boys on bicycles were perplexed because I had turned the handlebars parallel to the front wheels instead of perpendicular as normal, for transport reasons. When the rain finally let up and I pulled the bikes out to load up, they came over to ride and could NOT figure out why their bikes were unrideable! Suspect confused

Then '94 woody and I proceeded to remove the handlebars and pedals completely, claiming it would make the bikes faster. We had 'em going for a little bit there before the light bulbs came on. cheers geek

Cool video.

Upon seeing it, the wife declared that I was not going to be allowed to attend any more events.....until the wagon is painted properly. Lol

Well...I have to say that my wife saw your wagon (while I was editing the video last night) and easily agreed that painting my new hood was a priority. Lol!

I think it's looks cool and you have come a long way on that thing!

Everyone was smiling, that means a good time was had by all. A little rain never hurt anything.

Thanks for the kind words, Chris. The event motivated me, it will be shiny by the next gathering.

Your hood will look great when cleaned up and painted. Don't forget some little drain holes Smile

While that one is a possibility, I'm thinking of the one in Florida. That way I can pick up a rust free wagon at the same time.
