New labels?

I am thinking about new labels for my products, but I am not positive the cost is worth it.

I am asking for honest and unbiased opinions.

The question is: IF these were side by side on a shelf in, say, Autozone, which (if any) would you choose?

Old label:



As it sits on the bottle:



New Label:



New label will be on bottle same as old..... vertical.

Definitely switch,your existing labels always looked generic and bland to me.IMHO

I say new label as well even though the new one has a right-hand-drive Asian coupe on it. Wagon ho! 

Lol, that car is inverted from the website.

New label...also just sent you an e-mail! I need some detail spray! Lol....I keep forgetting and now I ran out last night.

i concur,. second one,. reminiscent of detroit diesel logo,.and the red circle grabs your eye,.

New label for sure. Having to twist a person's head to read the first label is not likely to be conducive to increasing sales. People will simply pass it by.

Second one definitely. The bold colors certainly catch the eye more than the current label.

New. However, take that big paragraph of text and put it on the back. You want eye catching on the front, and an essay is not.

Thanks for the input. This is what I was looking for. Too many just walked on by the displays....

Original website designer wanted something more "generic" for the website. Said it would appeal to a wider audience...

The RU made me think it was Russian or something as that's the abbreviation commonly used. Also in your little disclaimer note there is a typo I think. Unless "beyong" a new legal term im not familiar with? Beyond that its much more eye catching.

Edit: now that i look at it more it looks like the text is just all a rough draft anyways.

Yeah, new label for sure, but make it horizontally oriented. The vertical is confusing to the eye, as it's not how we read.

Do a thorough proof read on your label. You stated the same thing twice.

Please keep in mind that is is just a "proof of concept", and is in NO WAY a final draft....

Is this something that would entice you to purchase? Or even to pull from the shelf?

That's looking real good now. Much better choice of vehicle too.

You had a picture of your wagon posted years ago with a perfect reflection of clouds across the hood and that jumped out at me because of the all the minute details I could see.Theres not much involved in getting a new cars finish to shine.Just a thought!

I cant vote from my phone, but i think the old lable looks more like a pro-brand and the new like Everything else you can buy at any supermarket. My two cents, for what its worth.

Funny you mention that.... I am keeping the old labels for the "other" detailers that I supply products to. The new labels are for the "retail" market.
