| Had some nice weather last week so I decided to take the '55 Bel Air to work. First time I have driven it more than a mile or two in a few months. The Chevelle belongs to one of the mechanics in the shop. | |

| Nice shoebox, my late grandfather prefered the post cars, swore up and down they were faster. | |

| Thanks, it has a Year One 355 under hood which was good for 423 HP @ crank. I have a turbo 350 with a 3000 convertor. Looking to put a posi in it soon, still have the one wheel peel Hotchkis 8.2 in it. I have to admit though I have been spoiled by my Roadmaster wagon as my DD and I enjoy driving it to work as much or more than the other cars. | |

| Very nice. Like the '71 Chevelle your co-worker has, too. |

| One of my favorite cars. I know the 57' are more sought after, but I would give up body parts for a 55' Nomad. Beautiful color scheme! | |
