It's been a good ride but I needed an upgrade.
1995 Caprice wagon DCM. Opti service and water pump changed by GM tech late '16. I'm crazy about regular maintenance. Mobile 1 oil changes with Delco filter every 3-3500 miles. Interior is very clean. I swiped my radio out for my new ride.
The bad:
Sept. 2015 I was hit in a parking lot right in the right rear wheel. I never fixed it because I didn't want to break the factory paint. That's when rust starts to get bad. It's still rust free back there. The exhaust has been patched a few times. As a result, the right side tailpipe is not on the car. Still have it but it's not on the car. Should've kept the factory mufflers. The cats have been removed.
The bottom of the door pillars are getting rust. It's not too bad. The tailgate is showing some rust where some bonehead removed the molding.
Overall, it's a great car. I bought it in July 2011 with 37,114 miles from the original owner. It now has 124,xxx on it. It's been all over Michigan with the most recent trip being a 900 mile UP journey in mid-March. It's been the best car I've ever owned but I bought a camper and the taller profile of my Suburban tows a lot easier. My kids are crushed. I'm crushed. But he has to go.
