Got a '95 RMW, the grille is hanging off, held on by only 2 mounting points. i think it's supposed to be 5 but it's cold out and i'm too lazy to run and check. It's been cracked off by 140k-ish miles of roads.

I'm thinking i'll apply marine epoxy putty to the mounting posts and do my best to jury rig some kind of pseudo clamp once it's warmed up a bit out, but does anyone have any other suggestions that might work better?

There should be about 5 torx-head screws. Long. It's possible some have pulled through the mounting holes, so had some just-slightly larger washers than screw heads. Or you may just be missing the screws.

Would NOT glue your grill on....

The problem is that the little cones for the grill are broken. i just want to glue the cones back together.

Where the plastic grille bolts into the metal backing, there's these little cone-shaped protrusions

Do you have the parts that are broken off? If so, what condition are they in? You may be able to use JB Weld to reattach/rebuild them.
