Any of the computers from 91-93 cars with an LO3 will work. I will keep an eye out for any that show up in a P-N-P yard near me.

Thanks Fred! The ECMs are available on RockAuto but do not include the chip which I need to send away for a reflash to delete and/or reprogram certain functions.....Less "separation anxiety" if I can acquire a spare first...

I think they flash a new chip not reflash an old one. You give them the parameters, and they make a new chip. Where are you getting the chip from?

One of the guys on the GearheadEFI forums offered to modify my chip to delete EGR lean issues, smog pump, and temp sensor so it can run cool while in closed loop... I can only find used chips (ebay, about $45) I know there is a certain risk to buying stuff from ebay though.... "TBI Chips" can sell me a "stage one" chip for $266, but offers it for $60 if I send my chip in for the service....
Not sure if anybody here remembers, but several years ago, I bought a second 91OCC with a bashed in 1/4 panel because I wanted the perfect blue cloth interior for my keeper wagon and I wanted the complete drivetrain for my 69 van project..... Well, the van is now ready to run but is a bit short of cooling capacity for some reason and I reached out to the EFI forums about pulling back timing a bit..... Here is the conversation on that: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?11268-69-Van-Project-update&highlight=AzDon
The van now lives with the 305/700r4, complete TBI, ECM and wiring harness and 323posi from the 91 OCC, which I offered for free to anyone that wanted it (no takers) after I had what I wanted from it.... Here is pics of the finished van: https://vintage-vans.forumotion.com/t62221-azdon-s-108-ready-to-roll

Had you been close to Largo FL. I would have taken the rear.
I may have a chip in an old computer. I will check for it. If I do, I would like $25 plus shipping.

If you bank with Chase or Wells Fargo and do "bill pay", you probably have Zelle available automatically and didn't realize it.... Paypal has gotten jiggy and weird and while I do still have a paypal account, I'd really rather not link my REAL bank accounts to paypal because they arbitrarily grab money for fees and disputes without any communication....I think I actually have $40 or so in there that I've just left dormant....
Two months ago, I didn't know about using zelle for person2person transactions, but had used it in my chase bill pay for recurring bills.... I sold some van parts to a guy that urged me to use zelle and it was a cool experience.... It's instant and the money goes direct into your checking account at your real bank and it's a transfer between real banks and it's not subject to having a buyer's money retrieved arbitrarily because of a dissatisfaction claim.... There are also no fees that I'm aware of and I've both bought and sold with zelle.... We can do Paypal if you'd like, but they are Yesterday's payment method now that REAL banks have chosen to offer this option (Zelle)... If your bank offers Zelle and it's already attached to your accounts, I would get an email address and cell phone number from you and the money would appear in your checking.... It's that Simple!

I saw an article the other day about how much fraud is happening on Zelle, as in lots and lots. The gist of the article was that the banks, which own Zelle, are refusing to issue most of the fraud refund claims. For other places they seem to do better, maybe a thing about not wanting to lose business somehow by covering more fraud claims. The article mentioned numerous investigations into Zelle's lack of safegaurds and no backup for claims by the owners, which are the major banks.
I have actually been using Amazon pay more lately than Paypal and have had no problems with them yet and nothing I have been able to find involving rampant fraud issues with it in general.

if you select F&F when you send money via paypal, they don't charge a fee like they do when you sell or buy products. Fred doesn't have to get part of the money taken by pay pal , in other words.

I'm done with PayPal, They can lick my sack!.....They are refusing to uncouple my bank account or let me leave until I send them a picture of my drivers license.... And just try to find a person to talk to there! Account they are coupled to is now closed and they are in the rearview mirror!
