| I've been lurking for a while and finally signed up. Also a member at stationwagonforums and BADASS of New England, and a lurker at ISSCA. I don't have a wagon yet, but I've been looking for a few months, mostly at LT1 cars. I've learned a lot from reading here and hope to be able to contribute as well. | |

| Welcome, glad you finally stopped lurking and showed your self. Boy there are a couple of REALLY nice wagons available right now. See the Cars For Sales section. That 88k mile one in CA looks like a great wagon. | |

| I definitely want to check out an event. I was even just in Geneva, but about a month too late for Wagonfest. Is it OK to enter an event with a crap wagon? The Roady in CA looks beautiful, but not special enough for me to buy long distance. (There was a red Caprice on the ISSCA board would have been, but it sold.) If my wife remembers to go to the bank today to get a pile of cash, I may be taking a Caprice home tonight. We'll see. | |

| Picked up the '94 Caprice yesterday morning. We stopped off to do some hiking on the way home - wife and kids in the Grand Marquis, me in the wagon. When we went to leave, the wagon was dead. Towed the rest of the way home. I think it's just poor contact from rusty battery terminals. It wouldn't jump start at the battery, but it started fine when jumped at the alternator. Needless to say, my wife is pissed that the thing didn't even make it home on day one | |

| Too bad that happened on your first day, but someday you'll laugh about it. I think you have it diagnosed: loose or dirty battery terminals. At worse, you could need a battery. Whatever it is , it is very very minor.
Let see some pictures sometime.

| Sorry, no vacation time this year. My wife has friend she wants to visit in Baltimore and DC, though; maybe I'll send her and the kids . | |
