For some time I've wanted a wagon project. Found a 96 Caprice on Craigslist that I somewhat foolishly jumped on last January. It had several issues. Been busy with a house remodel and the Caprice has barely gotten any attention. Recently in my back yard a widow put up for sale her 1992 Buick Roadmaster. Since her and her husband wintered in Arizona, the car has never seen snow and there is NO rust. Frankly, I've never seen a twenty year old car in as nice of shape. The car does have 186K, but with the exception of one electric window, everything works! Long story short, I'll be able to create the car I want for far less using the Buick than I can with the Caprice. Will be selling my 96 Caprice wagon with an LT1 if any one is interested.
Want to install some nice wheels with some low profile rubber and likely will want to drop the front end an inch or two. I'm definitely open for any advice on spindles and wheel and tire choices.
Thanks,
