| Hi, I'm Jason, I've just bought a 79 chevy caprice that has been sitting for the last few years, unfortunately some one has taken out the brackets that pivot and hold the back rest of the middle seat in place, is there any chance some one could put up some photo's of their's so that I could make some. Thanks in advance Jason | |

| Should be the same from 1977-1993. Do you need a pic of the latch itself? You might check here: http://car-part.com/ That site links to many salvge yards, and you can do parts requests as well. | |

| not the latch, but the two or three brackets made from flat bar that clip onto the top half on the seat with sirclips and pivot to allow the seat to be folded flat. I'm in New Zealand so getting parts through a salvage yard may not be the easiest?

Cheers Jason New Zealand, very cool! My brother has good friends in Nelson and spent a month last year down there. Pics were gorgeous, and he loved it. You live in a gorgeous place! His only complaint was that the flight was so long he felt like he could have gone to the moon and back...ahaha. My wagon is in the body shop right now, but I know what you're looking for. I'm sure someone else on here will send you a pic. That said, I go yarding a lot and those bars are not all that big. Glad to yank you a couple the next time I hit the yards, if there is a wagon there. Take care! -Mike

-Mike Awesome, cheers. Will try and put up some pictures of the wagon in the next few days. Yeah NZ is nice, we're planning a trip to the states later this year so will be cool to see your part of the world! JK

| I might have the pivot/anchor mounts for the middle seat back in my part collection, the only issue is that the shed door is frozen shut with a mound of snow pile a few feet high against it and we've had rain and wet snow since so it's just a mound of rock hard ice right now
so once it melts I can get in there dig em out and take some pictures for you

| Jason,
I dropped the ball on you, I found out Saturday that I had to go to Indy for a couple of weeks for work, and forgot to go out to the garage and take the pic's for you, SORRY!
I hope someone else can help you out before I get back, but if not I will get them when I get back.

| haven't found any major rust underneath yet, but there is a bit around the doors, bonnet etc, but nothing major. I took it for its warrent of fitness today and it only failed on a couple of tires, the rear brakes not balanced and some bulbs, and they are normally pretty picky about rust so thats good.
The distance between the studs is 85mm from centre to centre.
Cheers Jason | |

| yeah, it's not so much the piece that bolts to the floor that I'm worried about, that bit will be easy to make. it's the arms that attach to it that I can't figure out, as I've never seen them. | |

| Those look identical to the brackets on the 91-93 TBI cars.
I've had mine out several times to run audio wire and all that... food for thought. |
