'92 Rearview compass Mirror in '95 RMS

Is it possibe to instal a 1992 Compass map light rearview mirror in a 1995 RMS? The '92 Mirror has a 4 square pin out and the '95 has a 5 flat female recepticle. I may need to go farther back into roof line. My '95 does not have compass and I have become spoiled with one in my 2006 Trailblazer EXT

Any mirror you wish can be put in as long as it is wired correctly.

The Roady compass mirror did not have auto-dim in case that was a feature you wanted to retain.

You have to go with another models mirror to have compass and auto-dim but then give up the reading lamps beneath the mirror.

Another option I discovered recently is finding a compass mirror out of a 2nd gen (2001-2006) Sebring convertible. It uses the same wide plug as our cars, has autodim, compass and LED map lights. It was an option on those cars, so you may have to hunt to find one.

So the Sebring mirror is "Plug-n-Play" on the '96 cars that only had lights and autodim?

I stand corrected, wrong Sebring.  The 01-06 convertible mirror does not have a compass in it, it's autodim with LED maplights.  It is plug and play with 94-96.  I was thinking of the Sebring and Stratus coupe (rebadged Eclipse).  Those had a hard to find optional compass/temp/maplight/autodim mirror.  It's not plug and play but considering what's gained you do get a lot out of it.
