Are Olds Custom Cruiser Tail lights Different the Caprice wagon Tail lights.

Forgive me I am a Newbie on here. I got a new rear tail light and was getting ready to put it in and noticed it had like a 1" gap at the bottom of the tail light. Are they just poor quality or are they not for Olds.THANKS!

Awesome thank you! I just got this car and it had a cracked passenger side tail light and the owner supposedly got a replacement from the other person in the accident but apparently its not a OCC tail light.

The OCC tail light has a 1 1/2 inch long tail on the bezel. The Caprice is 1 inch, and the RM is only 1/2 inch long. Your description makes the one you have for an RM. The OCC tail lights are becoming difficult to find. Most OCC owners hoard them once they find out how difficult they are to find. If you can find one, expect to pay at least $50 for it. Occasionally I have seen them on ebay. I do not think there are any on right now. You can mount the RM tail to have signals. Maybe someone will make a "cover" for the OCC light in the future.

On the back of the tail light they are embossed with OLDS, CHEV, and BUCK (not sure on the buick contraction, but you get the idea).

Also I know the 91 Olds has a gray surround vs. black on Chevy and Buick. Not sure on the 1992s.

The 91 OCC has a reddish hue to the bezel, not gray. The 92 OCC has a black bezel. The 91 Caprice also has the reddish bezel. The RMs all have black bezels. The RMs have Buick on the bottom of the bezel, but you can only see "ick" on the right lens.
