Cold start issue

Now that it's a little colder I noticed when I start the car first thing in the morning it cranks and starts then immediately almost dies, then just as quickly RPM's rise and everything is fine. This whole thing takes about two seconds. It starts normal when it's warm and it cranks and starts right away hot or cold. Whenever this happened on my carbureted cars it meant the choke needed to be adjusted. Either too much or not enough air.

I searched but didn't find anything similar. Maybe it's nothing to worry about?

1. Fuel system maybe loosing it prime

2. Could be the sensor on the water pump that needs to be replaced.
