Happy New Year Fellow Longroofs!

Just wanted to chime in. I'm a new wagon owner with a couple questions:

1) Is the LT1 engine in the Caprices the same as a Corvette engine?
2) Is the rear axle the same on a wagon as a sedan?
3) Did GM ever install disc brakes on a wagon?

Okay, just kidding. But seriously, which color is fastest? Very Happy

Good to see some familiar faces over here!

Well, I have a MAB car, so I'll go ahead and say that must be the fastest.

Funny thing is that I'm sure both of my DGGM cars are in fact slower than it is. Not sure what's up with that.

What is it with pools today?

The engines are similar. corvette 4 bolt mains, aluminum heads and more aggressive cam. caprice has 2 bolt mains, cast heads, less aggressive cam. geek

Wagon rear is 3" wider than the sedan rear and will not fit a sedan. Razz

DGGM was the fastest color til I sold my wagon last week. Now DCM is the fastest color. cheers

And before you ask, an opti is not a eye doctor. lol!

Black might be the fastest color but white is still the COOLEST! Embarassed

I would go insane trying to keep a black or darker color clean!
