Drag racing @ Atco Dragway tomorrow night

I've been wanting to run again at South Jersey's famed Atco Dragway . Last time was in Oct. of 2015 with my '94 Caprice . New opti, Taylor wires and Flowmaster 40s on the Roady this time. I mainly race because it's fun
Anyone else possibly make it? $20 to run, gates open at 4.30.

I'd be down for a road trip...are you looking at going in Oct again?

moving the battery and rewiring it and changing the overflow tank. i have not had alot of time so still have not driven it this year

went to atco met up with steve i raced him twice with my hhr he one 1 and i won 1. he spun the tire on the race that i won. but a win is a win, steve will like that

I didn't just spin the tire, I roasted the crap out of it for at least 100 feet! You said you looked in your mirror and saw only smoke! How embarrassing. Still haven't cleaned off ALL that rubber on my quarter panel and exhaust.

Thought there would have been a bigger turnout, but still beats sitting at home. At least my wagon got quite a few thumbs up for it's looks.

Cracked yourself up? Im sure the excitement of the event supersedes the ET.

My Roady looked pretty good (better than it has in awhile) but trying to get a good ET with that 3.23 open rear was challenging that night. My quickest run was my first and that was approx. three tenths slower than it's best and down about three mph .

Only my computer savvy wife can load the pics. Just pics of the two cars in the staging lanes, non of them racing.
Best et for my Roadmaster ever was a 15.54 @89mph.
John's little Chevy HHR only ran twice. 16.813 @ 80.37 mph, and 16.798 @ 80.95 mph.

I ran a best of 15.831 @ 85.94 mph.

Wish I'd had a, ummmm, oh I don't know, maybe a 3.73 posi. in it ...........but the "specialist" putting it together for me seems to be struggling.

We used to have a section for Drag Racing. but since it was highly under-utilized , it was deleted.
