WF FL - F the Corona

Someone asked me today, what happens if they cancel the Turkey Run due to the virus.
Well, we still have WF. I doubt they will as it is outside and fairly spread out, but if they do, there are a number of very cool parks and places nearby that could take our 15-20 cars randomly showing up.

We have grille and will travel. I'm not worried and neither should you

Options include, the first beachside WF, Tomoka State Park, a number of regional parks, etc.

I hope they don't over react and cancel.   If they do, I'll still be there.

As of tonight, their website says it's still a go. I know the track is all booked out so they can't shift it.

If they cancel and the hotel is still there, I know a coue of nice parks withing 20 min of the hotel.

WF shall prevail!

I'll still be going. I have several 93 and 94 RMW parts for sale. Burgundy 93 upper dash and interior trim. 94 Blue upper dash, interior and exterior trim, lights, lenses, chrome roof rack and many other parts. Message me if you have a need and I'll bring it.

While there is a Turkey Run in the fall, Wagonfest is only in the Spring.

Well...my car is with Jarrod in NY getting painted. We were going to do the swap in Daytona - so with him out, I’m using the time to go up and get my car. Sorry :-(

I'm still in for Saturday 3/28. Still on for 1 steak. It certainly won't be the same.

Dwindling rapidly with attendees. I'm on the fence myself as there may not be anything open or place to go.

Still have a week to cancel the reservation without taking a hit on it, so I'm holding off, but things aren't looking good right now.

I talked to the hotel yesterday, and they said that we could cancel if we want to rebook at a lower rate.  There is no cost for cancelling. I am still willing to go as long as the hotel is open. I believe there will still be restaurants open, unless the governor, or CDC requires them to close.

Booking.com has the rate at $151 for the 2 nights. I have only had one steak order cancelled so far.

I cancelled my hotel reservation and me going will be a last minute call next week. At this point, everything may be shutdown. THis is a very fluid situation. I'm bummed as for the first time in 4 years I actually have a wagon to bring (vs. borrow or ride with someone else).

Pretty much out of our hands at this point. 11 states have ordered all restaurants closed so far. WDW is closing their resorts. I don't think we are far from sitting at home twiddling our thumbs at this point. Oh well, I will finally get the stuff done to my wagon that has been waiting over for a year.

Sigh...I hate this B.S. but I think it makes sense for me and mine to pull out as well. Maybe we can do something less formal later in the year?
