Rear bumper and tailgate for 1991-1996 buick roadmaster wagon

Good afternoon everyone

I'm looking for a complete rear bumper assembly including all the mounting brackets and bumper beam and a rear tailgate to put on my 1993 buick roadmaster wagon. My car is purple but I'm not picky on the color of the replacement parts.

Unfortunately i can only get parts within New Hampshire due to covid19 restrictions my job has put on everyone and shipping would be ridiculous.

Shipping is not too bad if you have a Greyhound package depot near you. You can ship up to 100 lbs. per package. The price is about half of any other mode of shipping.

Do you need the shocks?

Most likely i would need the shocks and the little brackets that rivet under the taillights to be on the safe side. I just checked for a greyhound package depot and the only one in New Hampshire is about 1.5 hours from me.

George, There is a forum member on here that isn't active on this forum anymore, Toomanytoyz, who wrecked (front) his roadmaster wagon and says he is going to part it out and lives in NH. I will let him know about your post and maybe he'll show up on here...

Did you check the adjacent states for package depots?

The only part that is unique to the RM is the cover. Any Caprice or Olds CC will have the same bumper support, shocks, and the tailgate will be the same shape without the T pins for the trim (Caprice with woodgrain will have the top row). There are tiny pop rivets that can be used to replace the T pins. If you get a different model tailgate, you will need the RM trim. I may have the corner trim, and the large trim if you need it, separately. I do not have the top trim. I am not positive, but I have been told that the hinges/latches are different from the 91-3 and 94-6. You can remove the gate with the hinges by unbolting the hinges from the inside on the left, and pull the "open as a door" handle. It weighs about 60 lbs., so two or more people would be recommended. The lock can be removed from the inside, and you can substitute your original one to keep it "keyed alike" with the other locks. You may be able to reform the small rivet on brackets. 

If you remove the bumper support with the shocks attached, you only have to bolt the shock ends to the frame. There is a small bolt on top of the frame as well as the four that bolt them to the frame rail ends. That is 5 bolts for each side.

When you get another gate, salvage all the smaller parts from the old one, they are getting scarce.

Unfortunately i can't cross state lines right now due to restrictions with my company and a bunch of my customers right now. If i leave the state for personal reasons all the surrounding states require 2 week quarantines and i wouldn't be able to make most of my deliveries.

I can't wait for this covid19 crap to finally be done so things can get back to normal.
