I am going to the local pick a part this weekend to check out a 93 and 96 RM and wondered if anyone was looking for some parts. I am interested in the 96 mirrors but will be checking both out.

You can not put the 96 mirrors on the OCC. You will leave a big hole in the door. You also need the triangle, and the window sill to install them. Both of them have been there a while, so expect them to be picked over.

Can't install them? Sure they can. They just have some body work and paint to do along with it. None of which makes the swap a "Can Not" do type of thing.

You can install them, but it would be a shame to do that to a Gold on Gold 91 OCC.

Those are the wagon delete option cars.

Fred, I appreciate the comment and the help, but I despise the original mirrors on the 91-93's, they are a pita to clean and keep clean, and my ps mirror is in shitty shape.

End of the day it's just a car that very few people wanted when it was new and even fewer want 30 years later. Enjoy it, do what you want with it. When I had an OCC I just swapped out the complete doors from a big mirror car. They are supposed to be slightly different but it was nothing I noticed.
