It appears the paint is a moderately bright silver metallic?

Personally, I like ghost flames a lot but in a more subtle way without so much contrast as the pix show.

Some of the best I have seen where on very expensive paint job street rods and where often on silver cars.  They sometimes had a touch of blue metallic in them and would be in a slightly different, but similar, color to the main paint.  The ability of the painter/artist to fade them in/intertwine them is very impressive on paint like that.

From a distance you could barely tell if they were there, but up close they were spectacular.

It it looks like most are doing them on blue vehicles which is very nice, IMO.
