he's been making do-it-yourself kits for a while - i just recently reached out to him about this same thing - need to be able to weld or have someone else do it but price is good

I bought a very nice one from U-Haul when I had my '96 that fit very cleanly. My car came with the towing kit. That won't make a difference in the hitch but some in wiring.

i think it's been several years since i saw anyone mentioning even finding an old stock class3 uhaul hitch - but a few places apparently still had some laying around for quite a while after they officially stopped advertising them.
I passed up getting a used draw tite class 3 from a friend years ago when i didn't think i'd even actually use one on my other wagon.
