They should be fine. That size tire has a rim with range of 6 to 8 inches with the perfect size being a 6.5
It was funny seeing this thread as I just spent a few hours deciding on what size rims I wanted to buy and what tires work best with them.

If you go to an 8 inch wide rim, backspace (or offset) starts to matter. I had 15x 8 with 255s on them and they were super tight on the skirt. they had 4 in back space or zero offset. there was a mile of space behind them so more backspace would have helped alot on those. The Impala stock rim I believe is 9 or 9.5 wide but with more back spacing they are perfect on the wagons.
