I'm running 15x8s with 4 inch back space and on the passenger side will rub on a hard right turn.

9" wide with 4in back space would put another 1 inch outboard and I'm fairly sure they will rub. You can roll the lip of the fender back there but that'll buy you about 3/4 of an inch or so.

I think it'd be pretty tight.

On the ones I'm running there is a TON of backspace avail.

going with the cargo springs again? That pair that were in your old wagon are in my 94 RMW with a class III hitch. I don't tow much since I sold my boat (pre wagon days) but they sure made a difference when I had 350 sq ft of floor tile in the back!

Yeah, it would be REALLY tight back there, also depends on what kind of tires you pick.

I'm running 18 x 8.5" rims with 131mm (just a hair over 5"), and 255/55/18 tires all the way around, the fronts rub a bit on full lock turns. I don't think 4" of back space is enough for the wagons with that wide of a rim/tire combo.

Hmm... that IS cheap.

Good to know. May just spring [no pun intended] for those when the time comes.
