Hello,

I've just upgraded my trusty 78 C10 Suburban to this semi-shiny 130k 92 RMW. It's bone stock and ready for a few mods. The pic is from the CL ad, hope it posts!

Nope... it's "VERY DARK SAPPHIRE" according to the compnine vin decoder. Looks like dark blue leather to me. Very Happy Got it up on the lift this afternoon to get the rotors off, had a slight pulse, and the underside is pristine, couldn't find a scrape, dent or rust anywhere.

Thanks all for the welcome.

Sounds awesome Vern, tan is the usual color.Sounds like you have a keeper because a completely
rustfree wagon is very hard to find!

Welcome to our little corner of the world........

Vern

BTW the pulse is likely NOT warped rotors...... Ask 200OZ about polymers built up on the rotors and a few 100+ mph passes with heavy braking to fix it.

Interesting... not heard of that one before. Got it apart, pads were .125" at the most, piston dust rubber shot. These brakes ain't gonna be doing any 100mph anything! Should be buttoned back up Monday morning w/ turned rotors, fresh pads and calipers. Hopefully she'll be cured.

Cheers, Vern

Nice score. Smile

My wagons always warp the rotors in short order. I'm sure a turn and no pads'll take care of it quick. Smile

Welcome to the fray! Very Happy
